Broadband tools to measure system performance and more

You are in a quandry about how lucky you are to test the performance of the computer network you are in. A little research led me to an extraordinary collection of online tools available to everyone as a free service. You can pretty much measure or analyze anything broadband SpeedGuide.net with the tools of online community forum techie. Whatever you need to see ….. Performance or design for ….. you did the driving speed freeInstruments. Nice little resources should be used.

Here is a list of what was available from:

* SG TCP / IP Analyzer

The driving speed TCP / IP Analyzer is a program designed to display the parameters of Internet use, extracted directly from the TCP packets sent from your browser on your server. The program analyzer then shows the recommendations for the settings extracted from the header of these basic packages.

* SG TCP Optimizer

The TCP Optimizeris a free program for Windows to optimize your Internet connection. The program makes it easy to test the MaxMTU best value, the latency and optimize the parameters to find the registry key. The Optimizer can be helpful with tuning any Internet connection from dialup to Gigabit +:) If you need help with the program, see the TCP Optimizer documentation, read their articles tweaking broadband and related FAQs, visit and / or the Forum .

* SG Security Scanner

L ' SpeedGuide.net Security Scanner checks specific ports on your computer to recognize potential vulnerabilities.

Note: some firewalls may apply for a possible attack by their server when verifying the security of the system, because they test the vulnerability of choice.

* SG Speed Test

A quick test your download speed to estimate the connection speed at that time.

* SG Network Tools

SG Network Tools section contains many common> Network tools such as ping, traceroute, whois, etc.

* SG Bits / Bytes Conversion Calculator

Bits / Bytes Calculator is a useful tool for quick conversion of bits / bytes, etc. It takes into account the different conventons to calculate data transfer speed and storage space.

* SG RWIN / BDP Calculator

The RWIN / BDP Calculator allows estimating the values of TCP Window, based on the bandwidth

* Delay Product (BDP for short).

You canalso calculate the maximum bandwidth and latency values on the basis of RWIN, and run a number of different tags, too.

SpeedGuide.net Drop in to the test, and (no pun intended) of these instruments. At least you can do something for your current system needs or performance. While you're there I recommend you also check out their community forum. Great place to ask questions and receive answers to all your questions on broadband.
